This a reminder to install Docker (20.10.8) on Debian 11 (Bullseye).
Get the key
curl -fsSL https://download.docker.com/linux/debian/gpg | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /usr/share/keyrings/docker-archive-keyring.gpg
Add Docker in source list
echo \
"deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/docker-archive-keyring.gpg] https://download.docker.com/linux/debian \
$(lsb_release -cs) stable" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/docker.list > /dev/null
Install Docker
apt-get update
apt-get install docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io
apt-get install docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io
Final steps
It's better to add a Docker user :
useradd -m -s /bin/bash -G docker oscardocker
su - oscardocker
su - oscardocker
Test
You can execute the following command : docker-compose up
Docker version 20.10.8, build 3967b7d
